Safety and fun are key ingredients in everything we do.
THE PAL FOOTBALL DIFFERENCE
Kids in action in our new Football Club!!
PROGRAM SUCCESS – last season three teams reached the Super Bowl, one team recognized as division champions and another team winning the “B” Tournament.
- PLAYER EDUCATION & SAFETY –
√ NEW in 2012, the PAL will begin outfitting players with new custom fit, Xenith helmets. Known for their unique concession prevention system, each player is sized for a personal fit and the helmet ordered to their specifications. Players must be registered before May 15th to be fitted and receive the custom helmet.
√ Coaches are all USA Football certified in fundamental football teaching techniques for players to master based on their physical and cognitive maturity as they develop through the sport. All coaches are certified in concussion awareness.
√ USA Football player ID’s were provided for each player to enjoy online review of player development resources by position and skill, a Drill Library (100+ drills shown and explained), NFL Films Video Library (techniques by position) and much more.
√ A single PAL core program where what they learn as PeeWees, such as formations, route trees and hole numbering remains the same throughout their years.
- THE PLAYER EXPERIENCE –
√ Friends of the same grade practice and train together as one team not A vs. B.
√ Home games were played at Wayne Hills High School with press box, concession and scoreboard in operation.
√ Practice time will be mixed between high school turf fields and the PAL’s own fields.
√ The PAL facility offers players indoor training opportunity during difficult weather.
√ NEW in 2012, the PAL has opened the Football Club room. Our room is equipped with 6 TVs, video games, pool table and ping pong for player down time and team meetings. Additionally, our new Film Room stands adjacent to the recreation area set up for seating and instruction through overhead projection.
We look forward to you joining our program and becoming part of the Wayne PAL Wolfpack Family!
