The Wayne PAL Travel Baseball Program is holding tryouts for their younger teams, ages 7 – 12, this SUNDAY at Overtime Sports.
The times are as follows:
Ages 7 through 9 will start at 9:00 and finish at 10:00
Ages 10 through 12 will start at 10:00 and finish at 11:00
If your child has already tried out for the travel program back in November, please do not attend. This tryout is for new players only. Please email me before arriving so I can get an accurate account of our numbers.
Tryouts for ages 13 and 14 will be held on March 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th at Barbour Pond field, times will be given out later.
The Wayne PAL Travel Baseball Program uses a merit based philosophy when building our teams. Coaches from all age groups work together as a unified entity to develop our players with a consistent learning curve that carries on from year to year. Due to the size of our Travel Program, we offer multiple teams at each age group, allowing players that would not normally try out for Travel Baseball, the opportunity to improve their skills at a much quicker rate.
The Travel program has three distinct seasons.
SPRING – April – mid June
SUMMER – late June – August
FALL – September – late Oct
If your child just wants to play Travel Baseball just in the Spring and not the rest of year, its quite all right, or if your child wants to play Travel baseball just in the Fall, that’s fine too, as we are here to develop any child that puts forth the effort
All players trying out for our travel teams must play in our recreational league. The only exception to this rule is for our 7U Travel team.
