Wayne PAL 3rd Grade Boys Lacrosse team wins BattleLax 2013!

The Wayne PAL 3^rd Grade boys lacrosse team won their division in the Riverdell BattleLax tournament on Saturday May 4^THat Riverdell High School. Wayne entered the Championship with a record of 4-0-1, besting Sparta, Saddle Brook, Riverdell and Mahwah along the way. The Wolfpack would face Sparta in the Championship game only to have it end in a 3-3 tie. In exciting lacrosse fashion Wayne won in a tie breaker called Braveheart to take home the gold medals.

U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, and U14 teams.

The scheduling of all games will be made on a on a flexible basis to accommodate the district, regional, and summer tournaments typically going on in July. All games will be played between July 1^st and July 31^st, including finals in all divisions. By incorporating this type of scheduling system into our tournament, teams looking to play as many games as possible in July, can be realized.

U11 and U12 use 50-foot mound and 70 foot bases

ALL AGES AS OF APRIL 30, 2013. There are no AAU or Club teams excepted.

The tournament will be Pool Play format at all levels. All levels are GUARANTEED a minimum of 3 games.

All levels will have a minimum of 8 teams in each division with two pools of at least 4 teams. The top 2 teams from each pool will advance to a single elimination playoff bracket.

Individual trophies and team trophies will be awarded to the 1^st and 2^nd place teams.

All games will be played at the Wayne PAL Baseball Complex in Wayne. The complex includes six fields; a refreshment stand, children’s playground and indoor bathrooms are also on site.

Tournament Fees are $400.00 per team, Baseballs will be supplied for all games.

Teams will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. To guarantee your team’s participation, promptly return the enclosed registration form along with your entry fee. Upon receipt we will confirm your team’s entry and notify you of the organizational meeting for each tournament.

Congrats to the Wolfpack AAU Basketball 12U and 16U Teams!

This past weekend, our 12U team played in the Garden State SADD Classic. The tournament was a benefit to raise awareness for students and youths regarding drunk driving and the dangers that come from it. S.A.D.D. stands for Students Against Drunk Driving. Drunk driving fatalities are at over 10,000 per year and with your help and we can help raise awareness and help lower this number. We will make take a portion of our proceeds from this tournament and donate the money to help raise awareness for this cause. The tournament was held at the Wayne PAL and at Madison High School. Our 12U team played two games and won both on Sunday morning to be crowned tournament champions.

Our 16U team played in the Spring Hoops Tip Off II tournament held at Montclair State University and Ramsey High School. On Saturday, the team suffered a loss to New RO Elite, however bounced back with a win against Jersey Shore Swish in their second game. On Sunday they secured a win in the semifinals to advance to the tournament championship game later in the day.
