Dear Football Parents,

The football playing portion of our season has finally come to an end.  In some sense it is sad that we need to put away the football gear and wait till next year, but there will always be other sports and off-season training to get us ready for next year.  All in all we had a great season with two of our A teams reaching the playoffs, and two of our B teams advancing far into the B Tournament Finals.  Congratulations to all for a fun-filled, thrilling season.  I think everyone learned more throughout the season and the players gave 100% effort to performing their best, well done.

As we wrap up the season we need to follow through on a few remaining events and those being equipment turn-in and our awards banquets.  Here is the schedule for the upcoming events:

Wednesday 11/19/08 6-9 PM Football Equipment Turn-in, Downstairs in Football Locker Area.

Saturday 11/22/08 9-12 Noon Football Equipment Turn-in, Downstairs in Football Locker Area.

All equipment/uniforms should be washed/cleaned (NO BLEACH ON GAME JERSEYs).  Please place all 7 piece pad sets in clear bag, hang game jerseys on one hanger with Blue on outside.  Please note any item missing, unserviceable or not turned in will have to be paid for.  Any equipment not turned in by second turn-in date will result in equipment deposit check cashed to replace equipment.  Equipment must be turned in at designated date/time and checked in by Coaches/Asst Commissioner.  DO NOT DROP OF EQUIPMENT WITH SUPERVISOR OR ANYWHERE OTHER THEN DESIGNATED LOCATION DATE/TIME.

Peewee Awards Banquet 12/14/08  4 PM Wayne PAL Bingo Hall  Purchase tickets at equipment turn-in.

Junior/Senior Awards Banquet 1/19/09 6 PM Brownstone Ballroom Purchase tickets at equipment turn-in.

Please note we will be distributing our Add Journal out at the Awards Banquets and they will be given to those parents/businesses that purchased ads for $100 or more everyone else can purchase a book for $5.

Head Coaches/Asst Comm, please note we will need representation from each level at the two designated equipment turn in dates.  Anyone not turned in will be your responsibility to follow up on within the next week, after that they will be turned over to the PAL staff who will cash their equipment deposit checks.  I do not want this to drag on any longer then two weeks from first equipment deposit date.  Please get the word out.
