The Wayne PAL Lacrosse program enters its 8th season stronger than ever.  With our continued growth we will be fielding multiple teams for the boys at the 5th, 7th, and 8th grade levels, and possibly for the 7th/8th grade girls.

Our goals remain the same.  All players who attend practice and follow the program rules play.  We are dedicated to fair and consistent treatment of all players.  We continue to gauge our success by the number of players returning each year. Each year we see 60 to 70 new players right up through the 8th grade.  It is never too late to start and our coaches are committed to teaching fundamentals and helping all kids have a great time playing lacrosse!

Programs:

Boys Travel:  For 3rd through 8th grade boys.  Travel teams are no cut, everyone plays, and no prior lacrosse experience necessary.  However we play full travel schedule with games in and out of town each week during the season.  These travel teams will be playing March through early June, with games and practices 3 to 4 nights a week.

Girls Travel: For 3rd through 8th grade girls.  Travel teams are no cut, everyone plays, and no prior lacrosse experience necessary.  However we play full travel schedule with games in and out of town each week during the season.  These travel teams will be playing Mid-March through Mid-June, with games and practices 3 to 4 nights a week.

Tournaments:

We will do our best get all travel teams into a tournament.  At some age and skills levels it is difficult find a tournament that is during our season, and within a reasonable commute.  We also plan to set up an inaugural Wayne PAL Lacrosse Tournament!!

Equipment:

Boys Travel:  The Wayne PAL supplies a Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, and Uniform.  Players will need to supply a Lacrosse Stick, brightly colored Mouth Guard, Cleats, and Athletic Supporter with hard cup.

Girls Travel:  The Wayne PAL supplies Google’s, and a Uniform.  Players will need to supply a lacrosse stick, brightly colored Mouth Guard, and Cleats.

Parental Support (We Need Your Help!):

All parents are expected to contribute to the Lacrosse program.  This can be as simple as staffing a Bingo, or you can jump right in and join the Lacrosse Committee.
