We will be closed for:

Thanksgiving Recess (Thursday and Friday)
Christmas Eve (we will close at 3pm only when it falls on a week day)
Christmas Day*
New Years Eve (we will close at 3pm only when it falls on a week day)
New Years Day*
Memorial Day
Independence Day*

Summer Break is the week prior to Labor Day

*If the holiday falls on a Saturday, we will be closed the Friday before.  If the holiday falls on a Sunday, we will be closed the Monday after.

There is no refund for holidays, summer recess, vacations, emergency/snow closings or illness.

If we are closed for any of the above dates, there is no discount or deduction in your tuition.  Please do not ask to switch or substitute days, however you may pay for an extra day if there is space available.

Although we do not close during the school year for any week long holiday closings, we find it necessary to schedule to close for one week at the end of the summer, called "summer break".  With the heavy demands we place on "quality" child care, this time will be spent very wisely.  Our staff will receive their mandatory infant/child CPR training in addition to preparing their classrooms for the new school year.  This 5 day break for the students is also important because it allows them an appropriate time away from child care.  The long Labor Day weekend for the staff will give them some well-deserved time off with their families.  Since our staff will be working that week to prepare for September, parents must include this week in their monthly tuition.  The school administration and PAL administration values the staff and thanks them for choosing to work at Little Footsteps over other centers.  Their dedication and commitment never goes unnoticed.  We believe this mission and philosophy will lend support to low staff turn-over each year.
