In recognizing the need in the community for more options for "quality and affordability" in child care, the Wayne PAL is pleased to announce the opening of its newest program, "The Little Footsteps Child Development Center".  Little Footsteps will serve children between the ages of 2 and 6, as well as offering a Kindergarten Enrichment Program.

At Little Footsteps, "a home away from home atmosphere" will be created where children will be nurtured and feel safe while experiencing all the early childhood educational goals of learning.  We believe that learning and growing come to a child "one step at a time", and because of this philosophy, we respect each youngster as an individual and provide a program geared to meet their emotional, social and developmental needs.  Our low pupil-teacher ratio enables our staff to individualize the curriculum to fit each child's style of learning involving an age-appropriate program in the arts, music, computers, language arts, math, science, social studies and fine/gross motor activities.  Specialists will enrich our curriculum by including their areas of expertise from Abrakadoodle (art education classes) to Music Together (music enrichment classes) to Computertots (computer classes).

Parents who choose to look for quality programs for their young children will be pleased to see how the PAL has created just what they had in mind.  Childhood is a unique and valuable stage of life; a time of enormous opportunities; a time to grow, to learn and develop socially.  Through our experienced and certified staff, we pride ourselves on making the most of each child's opportunities at the Little Footsteps Child Development Center.  Parents will find that the PAL is dedicated and committed to keeping "quality" and "affordability" a "reality" rather than an "impossibility".  We share the same outlook in excellence for child care and the same goal that you do...to enhance a child's life in a loving, safe and nurturing environment where the foundations of early learning begin.
