We are excited to officially announce Born to Run 2010, the Bruce Eckrote 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by the Wayne Police Athletic League.  The event will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010.  Our objective is to bring the community together to raise funds for the following causes:  to aid a local family in need, to help establish a fund for community youth, and to benefit the research of esophageal cancer.  Further information regarding beneficiaries will be disclosed in the weeks to come.

You can help out by registering to run or walk, volunteering your time on race day, or by simply making a donation and joining the festivities.  Bruce’s devotion to giving back to his community as well as his dedication to running will be captured in this great event and we thank you all in advance for your support!
