2023 Cheerleading Registration
Come join an exciting and growing program!
The Wayne PAL offers both recreational cheer and competitive cheerleading for the youth in our community. The Football Cheerleading program cheers for our tackle football teams ranging from grades PK4 – 8th grade.
For football cheer, all Cheerleaders will be issued a uniform shell, skirt and pom poms. Cheerleaders will be required to purchase mandatory clothing accessories such as turtleneck, hair bows, briefs, warm-up and cheer bag.
Our competitive cheer program has had very successful seasons. 2018 and 2019 Battle at the Capitol National Champions for both our 4th and under and our 7th and under teams.

Cheerleading: Competition
Competition Cheerleading
In our 3rd year competing, 2015 was our most successful year for our competition team. For the first time, we attended NJ State Championship and earned 3rd place. Our last event of the season was Cheer Tech National Championship in Wildwood where we earned 2nd place.
The Competition program does not cheer for a sport but competes in various cheerleading competitions between December – March. Try-outs are required! All competition cheerleaders must be registered for the 2016 football cheer season.
Try-outs are open to cheerleaders in 1st through 8th grade.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting explaining our program starting at 7:30, immediately follow the parent football meeting on May 10, 2016.

The girls will be instructed on many aspects of the sport and will emphasize on teamwork, dedication and commitment.
All squads will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade but need to be registered
All Cheerleaders will be issued a uniform shell and skirt. Cheerleaders will be required to purchase clothing accessories. Items include bodysuit, hair bows, briefs, sneakers and warm-up.
